Short Tip: A technical representative of the future development team.

What is it?

A technical representative of the future development team to be formed if the product is approved to move on to the Maturing stage. In addition to having a technical background, it is advisable for this member to be interested in the organization’s business domain and processes.

This representative is necessary for two reasons:

• Incorporating a technical view in the discussion of the product, always associated with the product’s value to meet a user need;
• Facilitating the initial transition with the technical team, if the product is approved in the “Go/No-Go” stage prior to the Maturing stage. This role will be relevant during the initial weeks, since further down in development process, the team will have already acquired in-depth knowledge of the product through the various collaborative events with the business area.
